Description
APRITANT IV Vial contains Aprepitant (intravenous form), which is used to prevent chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV). It works by blocking neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptors in the brain that trigger nausea and vomiting. APRITANT IV is usually given before chemotherapy along with other antiemetic medicines to provide better protection against both acute and delayed vomiting. It helps cancer patients tolerate chemotherapy more comfortably and improves overall treatment compliance.
